Highlights of the event include:
Kate Behncken, CVP & Global Head of Microsoft Philanthropies will kick off the summit by sharing how Microsoft is helping build future-ready nonprofits in the age of AI. She will set the stage for the two-day event, highlighting key themes and opportunities for the sector.
Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft will give a keynote on the transformative potential of the AI economy and its profound implications for society.
Dr. Laurie Santos, Chandrika and Ranjan Tandon Professor of Psychology at Yale University, will share science-backed strategies for nonprofit leaders to enhance resilience, well-being, and decision-making. Drawing from her research on happiness and behavioral science, she will explore how small shifts in mindset can combat burnout and sustain leadership impact.
Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI, will discuss the implications of AI for nonprofits, explore how technology can drive positive societal impact, and address key themes such as ethical AI regulation and the future of AI accessibility.
Strive Masiyiwa, Founder & Executive Chairman, Econet Group, will join a nonprofit leader to discuss how AI is driving innovation and creating opportunities in the Global South. This session will emphasize the importance of cross-sector collaboration and representation in shaping the future of AI.
Afua Bruce is the founder and principal of the ANB Advisory Group LLC and the author of The Tech That Comes Next. A leading public interest technologist, Ms. Bruce has worked at the intersection of technology, policy, and society. We are thrilled to have her join us and share her knowledge on how to Build your AI Governance Framework.
